In fact, coffee and wine have both been proven to contribute significantly to bad breath, so if you want to stay odour-free, you’ll need to try to cut down on these drinks.

  5. Avoid extreme diets. Extreme dieting, such as fasting or low-carb, high protein diets, can increase the chances of developing bad breath. It’s always a good idea to question whether a smaller waistline is worth the social embarrassment of having unpleasant smelling breath!
